COLLECTION SPRING/SUMMER 2015

The VANESSAMORIN spring/summer 2015 collection is taking its inspiration from the heritage of baseball. Infused with pinstripes, baseball jerseys and striped silk blouses, the collection delivers a feminine energy mixed with masculinity to create a sleek tailored look. In addition to the baseball references, the collections grace and elegance is extracted from a book of old photographs illustrating the variety and contrasts of Italians style icon Sophia Loren.

Black creates an air of mystery and stays in contrast with pure white. Washed out black, ivory, stone grey and sanded bordeaux - the colours remind of aged, faded photographs that lost their brightness but gain beauty with their blurred, matt but warm appearance.

The core product of VANESSAMORIN, her beautifully draping cupro jerseys, reappear in new shapes such as cardigans, cowlneck tops, floor-length coats and voluminous harem pants.

A beautiful abstract water structure printed on a high quality Ramie fabric flows down on long stand-up collared shirts, an ankle length side slitted trenchcoat, pleated shorts and relaxed summer pants.

Manufactured by a small traditional Italian knitwear factory, the asymmetric black and white pima cotton sweaters, long cardigans and dresses are honeycombed with an avant-garde mesh pattern on the back.

A younger, more sportive micro modal jersey section comes up with an interpretation of the water structure, printed on the upper chest and tipped with a VANESSAMORIN signature, the 77 application.

Stepping out in a finely striped, perfectly tailored suit in black wool/viscose or ivory cotton/wool gives a sleek silhouette and is yet another proof that borrowing from the boys is a great way to stand out.

A black, flowing, long slitted viscose trenchcoat and a black top with a draping front and simply two strings along the back celebrate femininity in 2015´s summer collection.
